Forest Lake Club began as a golf club in 1923, located on the old Dents Pond adjacent to a popular swim club enjoyed by many Columbia residents. The construction of the golf course was followed by a new clubhouse, tennis courts with swimming in Forest Lake. After nearly 100 years, it remains the premier country club in the Midlands. Generations have enjoyed its beautiful landscape, phenomenal golf course, tennis courts, swimming pools, and various dining and entertainment venues.

Over the years the campus has grown with the addition of many new amenities and facilities. We have preserved our time-honored traditions, enthusiasm of our membership, and continued emphasis of good sportsmanship, decorum, and civility. As we celebrate our Centennial anniversary, we look forward to continuing these traditions and providing our members and their guests the best that Forest Lake Club has to offer.
